The following poem was written for us by Albert after he had attended one of our seminars. We have gotten to know him; he is a very kind; thoughtful and caring human being.

“Soft Kill”

They kill you softly… these agents, foes
O’re cup of coffee… they plan your woes

Incrementally… your life they chill
Sly and skillfully… evil, their will

Your helpers? Partners? They’re gone next day
A threat in darkness… scares them away

As suddenly gone… your fiancée
Resonate as one… your hearts each day

No closer a friend… you ever had
Lives full with joy, plans… mem’ries now sad

Her brothers, sisters… and parents too?
Inhuman monsters… drove them from you?

The easiest way… to hurt you more
Spread wider their play… those you adore

So, from ones you love… you must recede
As by all above… can’t make them bleed

Your corporation… your income source
Sees dissipation… swiftly, of course

All your resources… dwindle, run dry
Gains turn to losses… before your eyes

Property? And home? They’ve clipped the reins
Pocket change… a comb… little remains

Feel stuck in a groove… with no way out
Some things you can’t prove… but little doubt

The life you now have… is so alone
A dog, or a cat… can buy a bone

A job… to sustain… hunting you go
Résumés in vain… they all say “No”

Your calls they listen… and make their notes
Your tracks they tread in… sow tares ‘mongst oats

You peered through curtain… some truth to see
Made them uncertain… silent you’d be

Maybe a whistle… they thought you’d blow
It made them bristle… so you must go

Their method is cruel… so slow their hit
Not quick like a duel… just bit by bit

They savor your pain… vampires they be
While sucking your veins… revel in glee

American way? No, I think not
Principles today… left out to rot

A method unseen… “From Cap’tol Hill!”
They drain your being… call it “Soft Kill”
